Can I cancel my Roof Care plan?
Yes. Roof Care plans auto-renew annually and can be cancelled at any time with no long-term contract. Coverage continues through the end of the paid annual term after cancellation, and Founding Member pricing protection ends when the plan is cancelled.
Does Roof Care cover storm damage?
All three Roof Care plans include free repair coverage that can be applied to storm-related damage on a covered roof. Coverage amounts increase by tier — homeowners receive the specific coverage figure for each plan during enrollment consultation. Storm-tracked properties with documented impact also receive priority scheduling for inspection and repair through the Roof Care program.
Does Roof Care replace my homeowners insurance?
No. Roof Care complements homeowners insurance by covering smaller repairs and maintenance items that typically fall below the homeowner’s deductible — not to replace the insurance policy. Most Woodlands-area homeowners carry deductibles of one to two percent of insured home value, which means many smaller roof repairs never qualify for an insurance claim. Roof Care addresses that gap.
How does storm tracking work?

Is Roof Care a replacement for getting a new roof?
No. Roof Care is designed for homeowners with aging but functional roofs that need maintenance and minor repairs to extend useful life — not to replace a roof that has reached the end of its service life. When a roof has reached replacement stage, Blue Truss recommends a full roof replacement using CertainTeed or GAF systems backed by manufacturer warranty. Roof Care helps homeowners get the most out of the roof they have while planning for eventual replacement.
What does the annual Roof Care inspection cover?
The annual Roof Care inspection is a comprehensive review of the roof system performed by a Blue Truss certified inspector. Shingles, flashing, pipe boots, vents, ridge cap, gutters where applicable, and visible decking conditions are all inspected and documented with photos. Any issues identified are addressed under the plan’s repair coverage or flagged for homeowner action.
